About us

Built for writers who care about the truth

Plagiarism Checker Plus is one workspace for plagiarism, AI detection, grammar, and citations — designed for students, teachers, and writers who would rather know than guess.

Our mission

Keep writing honest, without slowing it down.

Academic integrity is not a number. It is a habit — citing what you borrowed, writing in your own voice, knowing when a sentence is too close to a source. Tools should help people build that habit, not just hand out scores.

We build the report we wish we had as students: sentence-level, source-aware, fair, and fast.

Our values

What we believe

Accuracy over hype

We publish how our detectors work, where they struggle, and what the numbers actually mean. No black boxes, no inflated accuracy claims.

Privacy by default

Your text is not training data. Free scans are processed in memory and discarded. Account scans live only under your account and can be deleted in one click.

Built for writers

A flagged sentence on its own is not useful. We show the source, the match type, the confidence, and what to do about it.

Honest pricing

Credit-based, no surprise overage charges, and free tier that is actually usable. We make money when you choose to upgrade, not when we trick you.

Our story

How we got here

2022

The idea

A small group of educators and engineers got tired of plagiarism tools that gave a number and called it a day. We wanted a report that explained itself.

2023

First version

We shipped a private beta to a handful of universities. Sentence-level highlighting and citation-aware scoring shipped before AI detection did.

2024

AI changed the question

When generative AI hit the mainstream, the question shifted from "did you copy this?" to "did anyone actually write this?". We rebuilt our detector around it.

Today

One workspace

Plagiarism, AI, grammar, and citations in one place — designed so a writer can go from draft to submission without juggling four tabs.

The team

A small team, a clear focus

We are a remote team of engineers, linguists, and former educators. We work in public, ship in small steps, and listen hard to the people who use what we build.
