1. Overview
At Plagiarism Checker Plus, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which we offer refunds, how to request one, and how refunds are processed.
By subscribing to a paid plan or making any purchase on plagiarismcheckerplus.com, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.
2. Subscription Plans
We offer monthly and annual subscription plans that provide access to our plagiarism detection tools and related features. All subscription fees are charged in advance at the beginning of each billing cycle and are non-refundable except as expressly stated in this policy.
When you subscribe, you are purchasing access to the Services for the full billing period. Access begins immediately upon payment confirmation.
3. 7-Day Refund Window
If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase date, provided that:
- This is your first purchase of a paid plan on plagiarismcheckerplus.com
- You have not previously received a refund from us
- You submit your refund request within 7 calendar days of the original payment date
- Your request is submitted to contact@plagiarismcheckerplus.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
Refund requests submitted after the 7-day window will not be eligible under this provision. The 7-day window applies to new subscriptions only, not to renewal charges.
4. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable.
However, if you were charged for a renewal and had not intended to continue your subscription, please contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge and we will consider your request on a case-by-case basis.
We strongly recommend setting a reminder to cancel your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
5. Annual Plans
5.1 Cancellation Before Renewal
If you are on an annual plan and decide to cancel, you may cancel at any time to prevent the next annual renewal. However, you will continue to have access to the Services until the end of your current paid period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of an annual subscription unless required by applicable law.
5.2 Upgrade and Downgrade
If you upgrade from a monthly plan to an annual plan, the remaining credit from your monthly plan may be applied as a pro-rated discount toward the annual plan cost. If you downgrade your plan, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle and no refund will be issued for the difference in the current cycle.
6. Eligible Reasons for Refund
Outside of the 7-day window, refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- You were charged twice for the same subscription period due to a technical error
- You did not receive access to the Services you paid for due to a fault on our side
- A significant and documented technical failure prevented you from using the Services during your subscription period and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time
- You are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction
Each request will be reviewed individually. Approval is not guaranteed and is at our sole discretion unless required by law.
7. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- You changed your mind after purchase and the 7-day window has passed
- You did not use the Services during your subscription period
- You were unaware of the automatic renewal and did not cancel before the renewal date (except within the 48-hour window described in Section 4)
- Your account was suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
- You purchased a discounted, promotional, or special offer plan, unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase
- Partial months or unused credits within an active subscription period
- Any add-on features or one-time purchases, unless faulty
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to contact@plagiarismcheckerplus.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your full name, the email address associated with your account, your order or transaction ID (found in your payment confirmation email), the date of purchase, and a brief explanation of the reason for your request
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
- If approved, we will process the refund within 5 to 10 business days
Please note that refund processing times depend on your payment provider. Once we issue the refund, it may take an additional 3 to 10 business days for the amount to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
9. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We are unable to issue refunds to a different card, bank account, or payment method. If your original payment method is no longer valid, please contact us and we will work with you to find a suitable resolution.
We do not offer refunds in the form of account credits, gift cards, or alternative compensation unless you specifically request and we agree to this arrangement in writing.
10. Free Plan and Trial Access
Our free plan does not require any payment and is therefore not subject to this Refund Policy.
If we offer a free trial period for a paid plan in the future, the terms of that trial will be clearly communicated at the time of sign-up. No charge will be made during a free trial unless you choose to upgrade or the trial converts to a paid subscription, in which case you will be notified in advance.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation in your country or region.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, you may have additional rights to a refund or remedy that we are legally required to honor.
If you believe your statutory rights entitle you to a refund that falls outside the terms described above, please contact us and provide details of the applicable law. We will assess your request accordingly.
12. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Most billing concerns can be resolved quickly and amicably by reaching out to our support team.
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account while the dispute is under review. If a chargeback is found to be unwarranted, we may seek to recover the disputed amount together with any associated fees.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Changes will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the updated policy takes effect.
